Oracy North West

Oracy North West is a networking and CPD hub started by Charles Hewitt (Fender Primary) and Laura Davidge (Crab Lane Primary) in 2023 to share best practice in oracy education across the North West. The Hub now also contains Pioneer House, a SEND school in Manchester.

We run two annual CPD events, as well as hosting Oracy Leadership networking events across the year.

As part of the Hub, Charles Hewitt delivers training for the Department of Education English Hubs across the North West.

Our next major CPD event is on June 1st 2026 at Fender Primary.
