Our School Rules: Be Ready, Be Respectful, Be Safe

Be Ready

• I come to school on time with everything I need (reading books, homework).
• I listen carefully and follow instructions the first time.
• I try my best in every lesson.
• I show I’m ready by sitting smartly, looking at the speaker, and joining in.

“I am ready to learn and do my best!”

Be Respectful

• I use kind words and actions.
• I listen when others are speaking.
• I take care of the school and everything in it.
• I treat everyone how I would like to be treated.

“I show respect to others, myself, and our school.”

Be Safe

• I walk inside school to keep everyone safe.
• I use equipment properly.
• I keep my hands and feet to myself.
• I tell an adult if I see something unsafe or if I’m worried.

“I help keep school a safe and happy place.”

When we follow our rules…

• We feel proud of ourselves and others.
• We learn more and help others learn too.
• We make our school a place where everyone can be their very best
• We celebrate our community.
