A very warm welcome to our Year 3 class. Moving into Key Stage 2 is an exciting milestone, and we are here to ensure every child feels confident, supported and ready for the next stage of their learning journey.

In Year 3, children build on the strong foundations of Key Stage 1 while embracing new challenges and responsibilities. We place a strong focus on developing fluency in reading, writing and mathematics, alongside a rich curriculum that includes science, history, geography, art, music, computing, PE and languages.

Children are encouraged to become increasingly independent learners, taking pride in their achievements and showing resilience when faced with challenges. Lessons are designed to be engaging, creative and thought-provoking, helping pupils to develop curiosity and a lifelong love of learning.

We also place great importance on personal development—supporting children to build positive relationships, show respect and compassion and grow in confidence as members of our school community.

We are excited to share a year of learning, discovery and success in Year 3!
