A very warm welcome to our Year 6 class. This is a special and important year as children take on new challenges, grow as leaders in our school, and prepare for the exciting step into secondary education.

In Year 6, pupils build on all they have learned throughout their time in primary school, working with increasing independence, maturity and responsibility. Alongside developing greater depth in reading, writing and mathematics, children enjoy a rich and varied curriculum covering science, history, geography, art, music, computing, languages and PE.

This year also brings opportunities to develop leadership skills, act as positive role models for younger pupils and contribute to the wider life of the school. We place a strong emphasis on resilience, teamwork and confidence, ensuring children are well-prepared not just for academic success, but also for the personal and social challenges ahead.

Year 6 is a time to celebrate achievements, embrace responsibilities and create lasting memories. We are excited for a year filled with learning, growth and success, as our pupils take the final steps of their primary school journey.
